About Mr. Flancbaum
I am thrilled to be teaching this group of fifth grade learners this year. Here is some information about me.
This will be my tenth year of teaching. Five of those years were spent in Wesley Chapel, Florida (just north of Tampa). This is my fifth year at Brown. I love it here in Colorado and at Brown!
Growing up in Michigan, I earned my degrees in Elementary Education and Computer Science from Albion College and Madonna University (both in Michigan). I completed a Masters Degree in Educational Technology through The University of Colorado, Denver. I played baseball at Albion College and you will find that I love sports, and my hobbies include anything active.
I am married to my amazing wife, Josie. We have been blessed with an amazing little son, Thomas. My dad, mom, and brother Kyle live back in Michigan.
The opportunity to work with Brown International's fifth graders and their families is an honor. Please never hesitate to contact me. You can easily reach me by email or phone. Email is preferred.
I look forward to a fantastic year!
Educationally Yours,
Mark Flancbaum
